It’s certainly a lovely stall with plenty of colourful hats and masks, but is any of them magic? Remember, Francis said, “From a hat of magic he will conjure me…”  

You take a chance and ask the stall owner, “Excuse me, do you have any magic hats?” The stall owner gives you a wicked grin and swoops a large black hat on your head. “Oh yes!” he cries. “This is magic. Magical enough to make you invisible!”  

“What on Earth! Why is everyone in this carnival a doofus?” you wonder as you slowly vanish into nothingness. Soon you will be not be seen by anyone…

Or you could just take that hat off pronto and try another place.
