I have a pet,
Her name is Annette!
Annette is a mouse,
She creates a lot of noise in the house.
The neighbours get disturbed,
But Annette is not perturbed.
One day, I told Annette to stop the noise,
Or else, I will throw away all her toys!
But Annette hopped and hopped,
From one chair to the other, and the table top!
I play with Annette all day long,
And also sing her favourite songs.
Annette and I are best friends!
She likes to eat cheese and bread.
I made a bed for Annette to sleep,
And before bedtime, she says “squeak,
squeak”!
