Moongdal Chaat

*Prepare under adult supervision*

Ingredients:

Moong dal – 1/2 cup 

Onion – 1/4 chopped 

Tomato – 1/4 chopped 

Capsicum- 1/4 chopped 

Green chilli – 1 chopped 

Green coriander – a teaspoonful chopped 

Salt – to taste 

Roasted Cumin Powder – 1/2 tablespoon 

Chaat masala – 1/2 table spoon 

Sweet Chutney- 2 big spoons 

 

Appliances and utensils: 

A small pan 

A big bowl

 

  1. Soak the moong dal overnight. 
  2. Cook it with just enough water so that it becomes chewable and is not lumpy. 
  3. Keep the moong dal in a big bowl and mix all the vegetables with it. 
  4. Add salt and masalas according to taste and mix all the ingredients nicely.
