India has varied landscapes, 

From the peaks of mighty Himalayas, 

To the sandy deserts. 

Also, our mother land has vast plains, 

Wide coasts and table tops, 

And the list goes on.

Which makes my mind hop 

From dosa to dal makhani. 

We see so much food, 

Which makes for a holiday mood. 

In this land, 

People wear Patiala-suit, kurta-pyjama, dhoti 

As well as saree. 

If there was to be a worldwide fashion competition, 

Toh jeet hogi hamari. 

Unity in diversity is India’s bedrock, 

This makes all Indians proud as a peacock.
